Protection shouldn't require an expedition. Our GPs vaccinate at home — flu, COVID, shingles, pneumococcal and selected travel vaccinations — with a proper pre-vaccination check, observation afterwards, and the whole household protected in one visit. Care homes and sheltered schemes can book whole-site rounds. Destination advice, complex travel schedules and the full travel vaccine list stay with our travel clinic at Friends Medical Service.
Is this right for me?
You'd struggle to get to a clinic for a vaccination
You want selected vaccinations given safely at home
An elderly or housebound relative needs vaccinating
You want the reassurance of a GP and post-vaccination observation
This is not an emergency service. If someone has chest pain, stroke signs, severe breathing difficulty, heavy bleeding or collapse, call 999 or go to A&E. We work alongside the NHS, not instead of it.

Yes — a family member, carer or authorised representative can contact us to arrange this for a patient, provided the patient consents. Many of our bookings are made by a son or daughter for a parent.
Frequently asked questions
Which vaccinations can I have at home?
Selected vaccinations may be available at home, subject to eligibility and vaccine availability. Call us and we'll confirm what's possible for you.
Can I have travel vaccinations at home?
Selected travel vaccinations can be given at home once a GP confirms they are suitable for you and the vaccine is available. Destination advice, malaria prevention and complex or multi-dose travel schedules are handled by the travel clinic at Friends Medical Service.
How much does it cost?
£250 is the visit charge for the GP visit and administration. The vaccine itself is charged separately, and we confirm that cost before booking.
Can other household members be vaccinated at the same visit?
Often yes — ask us and we'll advise on eligibility and cost per person.
Is there a check before I'm vaccinated?
Yes — the GP assesses suitability and reviews any contraindications first.
Am I observed afterwards?
Yes — you're observed for the recommended period after vaccination.
