What should I bring to my travel clinic appointment?
Please bring a copy of your current immunisation record so your GP can determine which vaccinations you need.
How long is the travel appointment and what is discussed?
During your 20–30 minute consultation, the GP reviews your destination details and vaccine history, advises on necessary vaccinations, and offers antimalarial prescriptions if required.
Can you administer vaccines on the same visit?
Yes. After assessing your needs, the GP can prescribe and administer the appropriate vaccines during your appointment.
What if I need multi-dose vaccines for travel?
Some vaccines, such as hepatitis A or B, may require additional doses. Your GP will inform you about the schedule and help arrange follow-up appointments.
